What it is
It's physical
A whipped tallow balm in an unglazed terracotta pot. Two ingredients, no water, no emulsifier — it goes on solid and melts at skin temperature.
What ads can say
- Whipped grass-fed tallow with olive oil; nothing else
- No water in the formula, so it needs no preservative
- Melts at skin temperature — warm a little between fingers first
- 60 ml unglazed terracotta pot, 7 cm across; the clay keeps it cool
- Unscented; deeply debossed wordless arc on the lid
- A whipped tallow balm packed in an unglazed terracotta pot.
- Made with two ingredients.
- Contains no water and no emulsifier.
- Goes on solid and melts at skin temperature.
How it's used
Scoop a small amount from the terracotta pot and warm it between your fingers until it melts, then apply it to the skin.
Who it's for
People with eczema or wind-cracked skin who read ingredient lists and have given up on lotions that list water first.
